Eateries adjust service to accommodate COVID-19 restrictions

Even in a time of crisis, Americans know how to get most of their basic needs met.

During this COVID-19 pandemic, local eateries are helping out by making sure people have access to their favorite comfort foods.

In Monett, those who have a hankerin’ for a fajita plate or some carne asada can relax and know Acambaro is open for carry-out through the drive through window or free delivery, Mexico 2000 offers drive through service and La Michoacana offers carry-out and meat purchases only.

Those wanting chicken fried chicken, meatloaf, chicken fried steaks or other southern comfort food can check out the online menu for Alice Irene’s in Marionville and order for carry-out only, or Angus Branch in Monett, for curbside pick-up or free delivery. Angus Branch is also offering special menus for carry-out service.

There is no reason to pine for some juicy, smoked barbecue when Big Baldy’s is open for carry-out or curbside pick-up. Just visit their online menu and call ahead for a favorite barbecue sandwich, appetizers, burgers, chicken, ribs, seafood platters, burritos, taco salads and more.

Cubs Café offers breakfast skillets, fajitas, burritos, quesadillas, steaks, chops, seafood and pasta from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5-7 p.m., with free carry-out or free delivery.

At Dairy Queen, the drive through is open to serve those fan favorites and icy cold sweet treats, along with drive through services at Sonic and McDonald’s.

Mocha Jo’s continues to offer its tasty bistro fare and coffee specials for carry-out only. Guests can take a peek at the online menu and order ahead.

Monett Family Restaurant continues to offer a full menu, including breakfast, burgers, dinner plates, pasta, sandwiches, salads and desserts for carry-out only. Guests can view the online menu and call ahead.

Rocco’s Pizza, Mazzio’s, Little Ceasars and Domino’s Pizza are still offering carry-out and drive through service so people can still get their Friday night family fun meals or while staring at ESPN re-runs wishing for this season’s baseball schedule to get underway.

Lai Lai’s offers drive through service only, and Happy House buffet is closed, but the lobby is open for to-go orders. Drive through service is also still available.

The Brown Bag Breakroom is offering up a full menu of tasty breakfast and lunch options. The online menu is available for call-in orders. Orders will be delivered curbside.

Prime Cut is open for carry-out and meat purchases only.

Saisho Hibachi and Sushi offers take away service only.

Jami Lynn’s offers a limited menu by order only. Menu options change daily. Available from drive through and delivery.

Romy’s and Southern Comfort are both closed until further notice.

In Purdy, Adelita’s Mexican Restaurant is open for carry-out only during regular business hours.

In Cassville, The Farmer’s Daughter is closed until further notice.

Roaring River Restaurant is closed until May.

Fast food restaurants, including McDonald’s, Pizza Hut, Subway, Sonic and Taco Bell are offering carry out or drive through service.

Oriental House offers carry-out and curbside delivery, as does Sunrise Family Restaurant.
