Kelleher wins Purdy Spelling Bee

Kora Kelleher, a Purdy Elementary fifth grade student, won the school’s annual Spelling Bee for grades 4 to 6 on Jan. 30. Kelleher correctly spelling the word “confidence.” She will represent the Purdy Eagles at the annual Joplin Globe Spelling Bee on March 16. She is the daughter of Brittany Scherrer and Brandon Russell and Chad Kelleher.
