Seniors win royalty crowns in full evening of activities

The Purdy FFA Chapter hosted the 2019 Purdy FFA Barnwarming on Friday, Oct. 11, in the elementary school gym.

FFA members and community supporters gathered for the annual festivities. This year's theme was “Chattahoochee,” inspired by Alan Jackson’s hit song.

Barnwarming Royalty candidates this year included freshmen Trey Hughes and Alli Hayes, sophomores Paul Falter and Robyn Schad, juniors Jake Brown and Annabelle Bowman, and seniors Scotty Henry and Soledad Salas. Henry and Salas claimed the crowns for the senior class.

The evening included a chili dinner, lake-themed games and friendly competition.

“It was a good time, with great food, and fun games,” said Purdy FFA member Harley Stephens.
