Luxury boarding, grooming added to local operation

More than 50 community members gathered to show their support of Monett Veterinary Hospital’s new luxury boarding and grooming facility during a ribbon cutting event hosted by the Monett Chamber of Commerce.

The new facility, at 215 Dairy St., offers 10 luxury boarding suites, each very spacious and equipped with a luxurious dog couch or bed. Each room is temperature controlled with a new HVAC system to ensure the pets stay at a comfortable temperature. A grooming room, equipped with a stainless steel bathtub, grooming table, and dryers are also available.

Doggie Daycare is available Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p/m. An indoor play area is available along with three large outdoor play yards.

Cat boarding is available in the new kitty condos, separate from dogs in the new luxury boarding facility.

“We saw a need in the Monett community and surrounding areas for expanded grooming and boarding services." said Dr. Erin Carnes, who heads the service. "Both my husband and I have a passion for serving the community we live and work in and we saw this as an opportunity to provide a needed service to the communities we love."

Monett Veterinary Hospital is a full-service small animal hospital offering both general and specialty veterinary services. The hospital is accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association.
