Ready to make a big splash

March is Missouri means fishing season. Calendar Girl Kaylee Davis, an angler herself but in school March 1, got herself in the mood checking out rods and gear at Monett Gun and Pawn. The daughter of Elmer and Dianne Davis, Kaylee Davis is an active senior, participating in YEP, FFA, M-Club yearbook the the GO CAPS teacher education strain. A four-year varsity volleyball player, she also competes on the Bear traveling club out of Springfield. She is active in the First Presbyterian Church youth group, enjoys driving on country roads with her best friend, watching Western movies, helping her dad in his construction business and spending time at the lake with family. She has a half-sister, Cassie; older sister, Emilee Newell, and brother Cole Davis. In the fall, Davis plans to attend Crowder College and later transfer to College of the Ozarks to complete an elementary education degree for a career as a second grade teacher.
