Screeching Eagles 4H receives awards

The Barry County 4H club, the Screeching Eagles, dug their talons into a number of awards that were handed out on Oct. 29 at the Barry County 4H Member and Leader Awards Banquet. 

The chapter received the Silver Seal Award for club community service. Alexis Luebbering received Outstanding 4H Member. Ada Bluel received Level 1 recognition for her Project Report. Mel Williams received the Friend of 4H Award for all his help to better the club members learning experiences. 

The other outstanding members include: Lily Bluel, Kaylee Luebbering, Jayson and Kayleigh Peterson, Jason Swadley, Gina Perez and Anna Hogenmiller. 

These members received numerous awards that recognized their hard work throughout this last year for cake decorating, photography, dairy and beef exhibiting. 

The club is led by Beth Luebbering and Regan Bluel.
