Freiburger receives book grant from MSTA

Brandi Freiburger, a reading teacher at Verona Elementary School, has received a $500 grant for resources, research or materials through the Missouri Retired Teachers Foundation. Funds will be used to participate in a Reading Bingo incentive program, providing each student with a book to read at home. Freiburger also hopes to gift students with books for Christmas, birthday and as a reward for achieving reading goals.
