Patriotic Pioneer Celebration held at South Park

Branson performers the Hughes Brothers provided some of the live entertainment in the Patriotic Pioneer Celebration hosted by the Monett Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter Day Saints at Monett’s South Park on Saturday. Held in the picnic area south of the Kiddie Playground, the event featured games, food and fellowship, drawing more than 500 people from churches in Carthage, Lamar, Granby, Cassville, Stockton, Aurora and Monett. Part of the Patriotic Pioneer Celebration at Monett’s South Park for the LDS congregations was The Six, a teen singing and dancing group affiliated with the Hughes Brothers in Branson that incorporated gymnastics into their stage show.
