Purple flowers both at the Community Garden and the garden by the Fifth Street parking lot on Broadway are drawing both butterflies and bumble bees this week, providing food and helping the plants. This flower is a Lemon Bee Balm. Leesa Ginther, Community Garden coordinator, said the milk weed, Yarrow, Nastriums, dill and parsley all attract pollinators, which are a vital part of a vegetable garden.
