Four Monett High School National Honor Society students recently joined Master Naturalist Karen Richardson in planting over 300 native wildflowers on the southwest corner of Fifth and Broadway, across from the Monett Museum. This demonstration garden was proposed by Karen and John Richardson to educate residents on the need for planting natives to provide pollinator habitat. Included on the corner will be a Museum display area for large outdoor artifacts. Contributed photo
