Scott Tech welding class launches raffle fundraiser benefit

Scott Regional Technology Center student chapter of the American Welding Society is sponsoring a raffle of a bench to help a local family in need. Three students pictured, Michael Russell from Cassville, Lane Hale from Mt. Vernon, and Trevor Morgan from Cassville, from the welding program taught by Aaron Obermann, placed second in districts and advanced to state with their project that is now being raffled. Raffle proceeds will benefit a local family that lost everything in a house fire. Tickets are $1 or six for $5 dollars. The drawing will be on May 7.
