Children’s Smile Center of Ozark names board
Service provides outreach to children in bi-county
Children’s Smile Center of Ozark recently named new board members and officers for 2018, reported Executive Director Jackie Barger.
Officers for 2018 are: Angi Stringer, Ozark, president; Melanie Stinnett, Springfield, vice president; Scott Pettit, Aurora, secretary; and Kelly Townsend, Fremont Hills, treasurer.
New board members are: Jim Brune, Springfield, retired engineer, Paul Mueller Company; Tracy Davis, Ozark, dentist/owner, Excel Dental; Fawn Rechkemmer, Ozark, owner, Itty Bitty City; and Stacy Kanagawa, Nixa, physician, Mercy Nixa Pediatrics.
These officers and new members serve during 2018 with John Craig, Springfield, Doug Burnett, Ozark, and Darrin Newbold, Monett.
“We are grateful for the service of three outgoing board members who have ably served our nonprofit for many years," said Barger. "Todd Johnson of Ozark, Monica Jenisch of Ozark, and Kody Finstad of Nixa have each served in vital and important roles as officers of our board, providing oversight and guidance during several years of significant growth.”
Children’s Smile Center provides oral health services through its three dental clinic locations in Ozark, Aurora and Branson West to children from low-income families residing in the six Missouri counties of Christian, Taney, Stone, Lawrence, Barry, and Dade.
