Passover Seder open to public in Mt. Vernon
Reservations requested for meal, service on March 30
The Kehilat Nahar Zerach River Rising Congregation in Mt. Vernon, led by Rabbi Derf Eukel, invites the public to join in the traditional and kosher meal for Passover on Friday, March 30, at 5 p.m. at the Mount Vernon Arts and Recreation Center (the MARC), at 822 W. Mt. Vernon Blvd.
Advance reservations, until Mar 20, are suggested at $12 individuals, $20 couples and $30 family. No reservations accepted after March 21, to allow for planning, preparation and set-up for the celebration remembrance. A Passover reservation form may be obtained by calling or requested by email.
An heirloom Messianic Jewish Haggadah, "Telling Messiahís MessageóRedemption and Resurrection," is distributed during the community Passover meal. A $10 donation for the 60-page Haggadah, authored by Rabbi Eukel, is requested.
The Kehilat Nahar Zerach River Rising Congregation is the first Messianic Jewish congregation in southwest Missouri, celebrating the Sabbath with music, dance and Torah Teaching Truth followed by the weekly fellowship meal.
