School staff honored for life saving efforts

Recently a student at Central Park Elementary School in Monett became unresponsive, due to heart issues. School staff trained in CPR and use of a defibrillator applied their skill until first responders arrived. The student was flown to Springfield and recovered. Monett school board members recognized school staff who responded at their February meeting.
