Saturday, March 3, 2018
Two Monett High School students found themselves falling behind to the point where they would not be able to graduate on time. They worked with Deb Hamilton, former counselor at Monett Intermediate School, and Shelly Asher, at-risk instructor, and both, with hard work, were able to complete graduation requirements. Amy Jaquez, right, was recognized for Courageous Perseverance and Effort to Graduation. She is pictured with Asher. Virginia Conway was recognized for Overcoming Adversity and Achieving Early Graduation. Contributed photo
