Purdy FBLA students place in district competition
11 advance to state contests
The Purdy High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) saw 19 of its members recognized for Top 10 finishes at the annual District Leadership Conference.
We have a very competitive district, so we are very proud of our members, said Purdy FBLA advisers Ashley Brown and Kay Wright.
Advancing to state competition were: Kyler Propps, Fifth Place in Personal Finance; Emily Webb, Second Place in Health Care Administration; Madison Renkoski, First Place in Publication Design Team; Emma Harkey, Fifth Place in Health Care Administration and First Place in Publication Design Team; Alex Wells, Fifth Place in Securities and Investments; Audrey Lowe, Fifth Place in Introduction to Parliamentary Procedure; Clay Henderson, Fourth Place in Introduction to Parliamentary Procedure; Layne Skiles, Second Place in Securities and Investments; Colby Boyd, First Place in Sales Presentation; Bayleigh Schad, Third Place in Journalism, First Place in Publication Design Team; and Shana Whisman, Fourth Place in Introduction to Business Communication.
