Plans in place for Historical Society’s Sweetheart Dinner
Evening to include music, survey of courtship
An opportunity to celebrate Valentine's Day with a sweetheart will be offered by the Monett Historical Society in a catered Sweetheart Dinner at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 17 at the Monett Museum's Events Center, 420 E. Broadway.
Tickets are now available for $25 each at the museum or by calling Alice Heim at 235-9763.
The meal, catered by the Family Room Steakhouse in Monett, will be prime rib or chicken cordon bleu, potato, green beans, salad, dessert, rolls and beverage.
Doors open 6 p.m., with the meal at 6:30 p.m. Master of ceremonies will be Jennifer Connor and will provide vocal music for entertainment. Jeanne Ann Camp will make a presentation on “Courtship Through The Ages.” Prizes will be given to couples for longest and newest marriages.
