Saturday, December 16, 2017
About 80 students with Pierce City School District received new shoes Wednesday in an effort coordinated by Tomas Saaf, chief operations officer with Lowry and Associates Physical Therapy in Monett, Mark McMillin, of Monett, and his long-time friend, Donnie Bonuchi of Shoes from the Heart, a charitable organization based out of Macon. Students took a field trip to the offices of Lowry and Associates in Monett to be fitted for and receive their new footwear. Additional stops in Branson, Springfield and Reed Spring resulted in more than 1,000 pair of shoes delivered to students that day. Contributed photo
