Members of the Purdy FFA Chapter attended the 90th National Convention in Indianapolis, Ind. on Oct. 27 to 29.

National Convention allows FFA members across the states the opportunity to further grow their agricultural knowledge. The 12 members that attended were among 67,000 members in total at the convention. Students attended leadership conferences and the career show, displaying several agricultural jobs. Laila Ali, daughter of Muhammad Ali, served as the event’s keynote speaker.

“The trip was a great chance to see different leadership styles to bring back to Purdy," said Randy Schad, chapter member. "I thoroughly enjoyed it and appreciate the opportunity to go.”

Attending were Andres Aldaba, Mason Schallert, Zane Brown, Kinsley Mattingly, Zach McCool, Casey Ellison, Harley Stephens, Randy Schad, Jake Brown, Clay Henderson, Audrey Lowe, and Kylie Wood.
