Purdy Elementary students were recognized for outstanding honesty during October. Each month students in kindergarten through sixth grade are introduced to a different character trait. At the end of the month each classroom teacher nominates one student who best represents the trait to receive a character education medal. Medalists were treated to a trip to the Coffee Cafe, where they enjoyed lunch with Principal Julie Dalton and Counselor Gary Jurgensen. Pictured, front row from left, are: kindergartener Landri Meadows, third grader Kierstn Postlewait, kindergarteners Kenzi Postlewait and Grant Cairus, first graders Xander Dodson and Waylon Rattles, kindergartener Emma Becker and first grader Silas Walker.
