Bluegrass ensemble to offer free concert Sept. 10 in Monett

That Dalton Gang, the popular bluegrass band, will present a free concert at 6:30 p.m. n Sunday, Sept. 10 at Countryside Christian Church, 1200 N. Eisenhower in Monett.

The band has released three CDs and has performed at the Starvy Creek Festival in Conway, the Turkey Track Festival in Waldron, Ark. and Silver Dollar City in Branson. The ensemble includes vocals by sisters Cheyenne, 16, and Maddie, 13, Dalton, with Cheyenne on mandolin and fiddle, and Maddie on fiddle. Luke Nentrup, 17, plays bass and sings. Nick Johnson, 18, plays banjo and Jimmy Meyer plays bass.

Additional local talent will perform.

The church invites the community to attend the free concert.
