Linda Patton congratulated on retirement as Purdy teacher

Linda Patton retired from teaching third grade at Purdy Elementary School at the close of the school year after 31 years. Patton began her teaching career at Purdy in 1985, as an elementary science teacher. She assumed the helm of her first grade level class in 1986, as a fifth grade teacher. She took a leave of absence for the remainder of the 2002 year to fight breast cancer setting an example of strength, grace and determination for her students and co-workers.
