WinTech receives Missouri Impact Award
Monett manufacturer honored for improvements
Window Technology Inc. in Monett, also known as WinTech, was honored on Thursday with the prestigious Missouri Impact Award for Continuous Improvement in Manufacturing Excellence.
Missouri Enterprise created the Missouri Impact Award in 1998 to recognize the accomplishments of its business clients and associates who have excelled in continuous improvement in manufacturing, innovative technology development, environmental solutions or contributions to the success of Missouri business and community/state economic development.
“The award recognizes WinTech for its commitment to achieving and maintaining 'world class' manufacturing status, as well as the contributions that the company makes to the state of Missouri the city of Monett and Barry and Lawrence Counties,” said Dusty Cruise, president and chief executive officer for Missouri Enterprise, when presenting the award to WinTech President Mark Harper.
In accepting the award, Harper said the WinTech growth is a result of the efforts of all its employee-owners, its suppliers, customers and a team of Missouri Enterprise manufacturing specialists.
The company’s entire workforce attended the ceremony as well as WinTech board members Ron Guinn, Curt McCoy, Bob Berger and Bret Baker. Dignitaries on hand for the occasion were Dan Wadlington, representing Senator Roy Blunt; David Stokely, representing Senator Claire McCaskill; Jake Heisten, representing Congressman Billy Long; Monett City Council members Mike Brownsberger, Jerry Dierker and Al Dohmen; and Dennis Pyle, city administrator.
Founded in 1991 in Monett, WinTech enjoys a national reputation for custom manufacturing high quality, cost-effective windows for commercial, metal and modular buildings and residential basements.
WinTech also manufacturers access doors, view port windows and panels for the heating and air conditioning industry. Another division produces an innovative series of commercial windows and PTAC Louvers for the hospitality industry. The company holds a wide range of registrations, certifications and recognitions from the construction and architectural organizations.
