Purdy rallies into baseball district title game

The Purdy baseball team kept its district title hopes alive with a 6-2 win over College Heights on Monday.

The Cougars led 2-1 after two innings of play, only to watch the Eagles score five times over the last three innings to pull out the victory.

Adam Humphrey earned the win, allowing two runs on three hits and striking out three.

Purdy played McAuley for the district championship on Tuesday.

Results were not available at presstime.
