A dog-gone funny night

Tuesday, April 4, 2017
Ventriloquist and Branson performer Todd Oliver brought his “talking dog” Irving to the Monett High School Performing Arts Center for a show on Saturday, sponsored by the Monett High School Student Council. The audience, with a large contingent of young children, enjoyed a family-geared show where Irving “described” his adventures as a Walmart greeter and Oliver talked to the audience about the pitfalls of spontaneously sharing his “gift,” especially at funerals. The Student Council hopes to host more shows in future years. Murray Bishoff/times-news@monett-times.com
