Barry County graduates make Missouri State University's fall 2016 Dean's List

The following Barry County natives made the Dean's List for the fall 2016 semester at Missouri State University in Springfield. For undergraduate students, criteria to make the list include enrollment in at least 12 credit hours during the fall semester and at least a 3.50 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.

Cassville graduates included: Krystal S. Haney, Brandy R. Hess, Cynthia M. Holman, Alyssa K. Knight, Marsha A. Lawson, Chelsea L. McCracken, Kendra R. Richter, Jordan T. Shore, Trevor D. Tanner, Kelly R. Tolbert and Alex S. Williams.

Exeter graduates included: Cathryn E. Bingham, Michael L. Brattin, Mary M. Fellows, Larry A. Meyer, Kandace E. Norman and Sue Ann E. Stanley.

Missouri State University releases Barry County graduates

The following Barry County graduates recently graduated from Missouri State University on Dec. 16 at the JQH Arena. Scholastic honors were†given to 31 students who graduated summa cum laude (with grade point averages of 3.9-4.0 on a 4.0 scale), 54 who graduated magna cum laude (with GPAs of 3.75-3.89) and 135 who graduated cum laude (with GPAs of 3.5-3.74).

Brown, Hilton and Losack named to College of the Ozarks Deanís List

Monett graduate Courtney Brown and Verona graduates Hannah Hilton and Seth Losack, were recently named to the College of the Ozarks fall 2016 Deanís List. To qualify for the list, students must maintain a 3.6 minimum grade point average during the semester and carry at least 15 credit hours.
