Cow and Bull Auction 8/10/16

Receipts:  438    Last Week:  434    Last Year:  605

   Compared to last Wednesday, slaughter cows sold steady to 1.00 lower and
slaughter bulls sold 1.00 lower. The offering included very light supply
bred cows and cow/calf pairs were scarce. Supply was light and demand moderate
for slaughter classes.

   Bred Cows:  Medium and Large 1-2  4-6 yrs 2nd and 3rd stage 1150-1335 lbs
1160.00-1460.00, 1st stage few 1100-1165 lbs 995.00-1060.00; short and solid
mouth to aged 2nd and 3rd stage 1095-1290 lbs 890.00-1075.00. Large 1-2  5-6
yrs 2nd and 3rd stage 1400-1585 lbs 1250.00-1575.00; short and solid mouth 3rd
stage 1435-1450 lbs 1075.00-1125.00. Medium 1-2  2-5 yrs 2nd and 3rd stage 940-
