Cow and Bull Auction 8/3/2016

Receipts:  434    Week Ago:  389    Year Ago:  377

   Compared to last week, slaughter cows and bulls sold steady to
2.00 higher. The offering included a light supply of bred cows and
cow-calf pairs. Supply was light to moderate and demand was good
for slaughter classes.

   Bred Cows:  Medium and Large 1-2  3-7 yrs. 2nd-3rd stage 1050-1400
lbs 1000.00-1425.00 per head; 7 yrs.-broken mouth 1175-1280 lbs 900.00-
1100.00 per head.  

   Cow-Calf Pairs:  Scarce
