Cow and Bull Auction 1/20/16

Receipts: 300 Last Week: 465 Last Year: 668

Compared last Wednesday, slaughter cows sold 3.00-5.00 higher with some high-
dressing 6.00 higher and slaughter bulls sold 4.00-5.00 higher on a light
supply. The offering included a moderate supply of bred cows and only a few
cow/calf pairs. A sheet of ice covered much of the area last night and this
morning limiting receipts. Supply was light and demand good for slaughter
classes on a weather market.
