Cow and Bull Auction 1/13/16

Receipts: 465 Last Week: 846 Last Year: 679

Compared last Wednesday, slaughter cows sold steady and slaughter bulls sold
1.00-2.00 lower. The offering included a light supply of bred cows and cow/calf
pairs were scarce. Warm weather across the area for a couple days is taking the
frost out of the ground and creating a lot of mud, with a cold and wintry fore-
cast again for the weekend. Supply and demand were moderate for slaughter
classes.
