Magician to present magic program at Shell Knob library

Magician Marty Hahne, of Ozark, will perform for young readers at the Shell Knob Branch Library at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 19.

Hahne, who performs at about 50 libraries each year, will be presenting an exciting program entitled, "Reading is Magic!" The 45-minute program features colorful magic, comedy and lots of audience participation. Along with all the fun, the program will emphasize the importance of reading and the library.

Hahne is a full-time magician, performing approximately 300 shows each year. He presents most of his shows in schools, libraries and child care centers. He also travels around the United States teaching other magicians how to entertain children.
