Cow and Bull Auction 10/14/15

   Compared to last Wednesday, slaughter cows sold 2.00-3.00 lower and slaughter
bulls sold 1.00-2.00 lower. In comparison with slaughter prices in mid-July the
same kind of cows are bringing about 30.00 less per hundred weight. The offering
included a moderate supply of bred cows but cow/calf pairs were scarce. Supply
and demand were moderate for slaughter classes.

1450.00-1900.00, 1st stage 925-1010 lbs 1475.00-1500.00; 7 yrs to short and
solid mouth 2nd and 3rd stage 1275-1350 lbs 1200.00-1425.00; broken mouth 2nd
and 3rd stage couple 1125-1220 lbs 1175.00. Large 1-2  2-6 yrs 3rd stage 1300-
1470 lbs 1875.00-1900.00; short and solid mouth 2nd and 3rd stage 1420-1600
