Purdy band raises funds for playground project

"The Difference," Purdy High School's staff and student band, performed its annual benefit concert at the Purdy High School Gym on Saturday, March 21. The evening featured a wide variety of music, including classic rock, country, multi-cultural, bluegrass and oldies. Lauren Lee, Purdy High School vocal music director, appeared as a guest vocalist. The event more than $250 to benefit the Purdy Renewal Project's community playground renovation endeavors.
