A spaghetti dinner and silent auction fundraiser to benefit the Scott Regional Technology Center's JROTC program's Cadet Enrichment Project from 5 to 7 p.m. on Feb. 28 at Scott Tech. A wide range of goods and services provided by area businesses.

A craft night at the Scott Regional Technology Center featuring instructor Beth Garrett will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on March 2 and March 3. Participants will make a colorful door mat. Paint will be provided. Participants should bring specific colors if they want a particular look. Cost is $20 per person. Registration is due by Feb. 27 and may be made online at www.monett.srtc.schoolfusion.us.

The 23rd annual Barton-Jasper County Collectors Association will have its Spring Coin, Stamp, Postcard, Sports Memorabilia and Collectibles Show from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 28 at the Carthage Memorial Hall, 407 S. Garrison. Admission is free.

An inside rummage and bake sale will be held from 7 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Feb. 28 in the gym at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Carnation and Highway 60 in Aurora.

The recycling trailer in Pierce City, which has been open on Saturday mornings under the north water tower, has moved to 306 E. Washington.

The Pierce City Rural Fire District board will meet at 7 p.m. on March 2 at the rural fire station on Farm Road 2225.

St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Monett will host a weekly fish fry for Lent every Friday in March, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the church's Parish Hall. Cost is $8 for adults, $7 for seniors and children ages 6 to 12.

The R.H. Silverwood band will perform at Mt. Vernon Arts and Recreation Center (The MARC) at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 28. Tickets are $5 and are available at the door. R.H. Silverwood plays a variety of genres. This event is sponsored by Mt. Vernon Regional Arts and the Missouri Arts Council.

The Mars Hill annual chili and pie supper auction will be held at 5 p.m. on Feb. 28 at the First Baptist Church in Reavisville. The Rippling Creek bluegrass band will provide entertainment.

Lawrence County Republican Central Committee will host Lincoln Days at 6 p.m. on March 21 at the Mt.Vernon Arts and Recreation Center, 822 W. Mt. Vernon Blvd.

The 85th annual Stone County Livestock and Forage Conference has been rescheduled from Feb. 17 to Thursday, March 5, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the First Baptist Church on Crane, south of the city on Highway 413. A small fee is required to cover meal costs.

A private pesticide applicator training session will be held at 1 p.m. on March 5 at the Lawrence County Courthouse.

The Soroptimist Club of Barry County will hold at St. Patrick's Day potato bake from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on March 12 at United Methodist Church, 601 Gravel St. in Cassville. Cost is $7.

The Ozarks Model Railroad Association's 37th annual Model Train Show and Swap Meet will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. om March 14 at Remington's, 1655 W. Republic Rd. in Springfield.

The SoftStitchers will host a quilt show March 12 to March 15 at the Arnold Farber building at Crowder College in Neosho.

Trinity Lutheran School in Freistatt will host its annual school carnival on Friday, March 6. A dinner will be served from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Games and a silent auction will run from 6 to 8:30 p.m. with a live auction following at 9 p.m.
