Thursday, February 19, 2015

Receipts: 215 Last Week: 603 Last Year: 1104

Compared to last Wednesday, slaughter cows sold steady to 2.00 higher and
slaughter bulls 1.00-2.00 higher. Cull dairy cows made up a high percent of
slaughter offering. There was a light supply of bred cows and no cow/calf
pairs were traded. Icy roads and cold temperatures limited receipts today.
Supply was light and demand good for slaughter classes.
