The Monett Kiwanis Club will hold its quarterly evening meeting open to the public at 6 p.m. on March 26 at Big Baldy's Barbecue, east of Hickory and Highway 60. Ron Hearst, meteorology for KY3 television, will be the guest speaker. Cost is $10 per person and includes the meal.

The Monett High School Class of 1973 will have a reunion meeting on Tuesday, April 2, at the home of Connie Jarvis, 604 Schoolview Drive in Monett.

A fish fry to benefit St. Mary's Catholic School in Pierce City will be held by the Home and School organization from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, March 22.

The first Doug Weatherly Memorial Basketball Tournament will be held on Saturday, March 23 at Pierce City High School. The first game starts at 3 p.m. T-shirts are available for $10. Proceeds benefit the Doug Weatherly Memorial Scholarship.

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny will be held from 7 to 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 23 at the First United Methodist Church, 1600 N. Central in Monett. Tickets are $4 for adults, 43 for children under 12. The Easter Bunny will be available for photos. Proceeds benefit the For the Kids Foster and Adoptive Parent Association.

Opening ceremonies for the Monett Youth Baseball and Softball League will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday April 26 at Monett's North Park. Sign-up to participate can still be made online at mybsl@suddenlink.net.

Final scheduled sign-ups for the Purdy Summer Ball program will be from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 23 in the Purdy High School gym. There will be an organizational meeting at 6 p.m. on March 27 in the cafeteria.

The Tuesday Ladies Golf League will hold a kick-off breakfast at Grant's restaurant at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 26. All women interested in playing are invited to attend. Play will follow breakfast, weather permitting. For more information, contact Dixie Latshaw at 235-5331.

The 644th Lawrence County Gospel Sing will be held Sunday, March 24 at the First Baptist Church in Marionville, located at 301 S. College.

In an effort to help curb recent cattle thefts, the University of Missouri Extension, Southwest Missouri Cattlemen's Association, Moore Ranch Crew, and the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office will be hosting a cattle branding demonstration at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26 at the Jackie Moore ranch, located north of Mt. Vernon on Highway 39.

The Reavisville First Baptist Church will offer its annual baked potato dinner at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 23. Proceeds benefit Relay for Life. For more information, call Lynda Painter at 235-9803.

A spaghetti dinner to help Chloe Fellwock, age 4, facing inoperable brain cancer, will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on April 13 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Monett.
