Missouri Weekly Hay Summary Week ending 03/22/2013

Friday, March 22, 2013

The calendar says it is spring however the forecast says winter isn't
quite through yet. Temperatures are below average and snow is expected
for all areas of the state courtesy of two different approaching systems.
Green grass will be a sight for sore eyes when it arrives. Hay supply is
light, demand is light and prices are steady. The Missouri Department of
Agriculture has a hay directory available for both buyers and sellers.
