Kathryn was a 1951 graduate of Marionville High School and a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Marionville. She retired from the Jumping-Jacks Shoe Factory in Monett, where she worked as a fancy-stitcher. On April 25, 1952 she married Bill Faucher at Camp Roberts Military Base in California. Although they lived elsewhere while Bill served his country in Korea, Kathryn lived most of her life in Lawrence County.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of 60 years, Bill; one son, Bob Faucher, of Aurora; two daughters, Gail (Earl) Wilson, of Aurora and Janice (Tom) Justice, of Fort Smith Ark.; two brothers, Arnold (Neoma) Maples, of Springdale, Ark. and Kenny (Luella) Maples, of Marionville; six grandchildren, Jami (Michael) Pinkley, Kyle Faucher, and Abby (Greg) Nolan, all of Aurora; Earl Wilson III, of Columbia, Mo., Becky (Cody) Chatman, of Greenwood, Ark., Andy Justice, of Fort Smith, Ark.; and three great-grandchildren, Kaylin and James Francisco, and Maci Pinkley.
In addition to her parents, two brothers, Clarence and Willis Maples, also preceded her in death.
A funeral service, under the direction of the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home, will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, at the First Baptist Church of Marionville with burial at the Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service.
Memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church or Mercy Hospice in care of the funeral home.
