Three injured in crash

Friday, January 18, 2013

Three people were injured in a single-vehicle crash that occurred at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 16, on Highway H about one mile north of Freistatt.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred when the driver of a 1995 Dodge 1500 pickup, Patricia R. Brown, 21, of Monett, ran off the right side of the roadway, traveled down an embankment and overturned.

Brown sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.

Two passengers in the vehicle, Kelsi L. Brown, 22, of Monett, and Brooklyn E. Marie-Harville, 5, of Monett, were taken by ambulance to Cox Monett Hospital with minor injuries. Both were wearing seat belts.

Kelsi L. Brown 22 of Monett & Brooklyn E. Marie Harvill were diverted to Mercy Hospital in Springfield with serious injuries that were not noticed until the ambulance personel had them in route...Please correct this.

This was my daughters & grand daughter. There are enough "alternate" stories out there we dont need more.

Thank you
