New DVDs arriving at the Pierce City Branch Library include: Ice Age: Continental Drift, The Dark Knight Rises, Last Ounce of Courage: A Story of Family, Faith and Freedom, Smooch, The Pelican Brief, Cast Away, and E.T.: The Extra-terrestrial.
Adult fiction titles include: "Rogue" by Mark Sullivan; and "The Black Box" by Michael Connelly, a large print mystery.
Teen fiction titles include: "Bite Club" by Rachel Caine; "Diary of a Wimpy Kid: the Third Wheel" by Jeff Kinney; "The Hunters" by John Flanagan; and "The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer" by Michelle Hodkin.
Programs in the New Year will include Storytime, every Wednesday at 10:30 a.m.
Prairie Quilting, with Debbie, will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Jan. 15. This class is for men, women, teens, and beginners. An example can be seen displayed on the Pierce City Branch bulletin board.
A Stamping and Scrapbooking workshop will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 22 in the library meeting room.
