   Compared to last Monday, slaughter cows sold steady to 2.00 lower and
slaughter bulls sold 2.00 lower on a very light test. A high percent of the
offering went to slaughter. There was a light supply of bred cows and a hand-
ful of cow/calf pairs. Receipts were reduced today by overnight temperatures
in the single digits and remnants of the snow and ice still hanging around
since Saturday evening. Supply was light and demand light to moderate for
slaughter classes.
