   Compared to three weeks ago, the bulk of slaughter cows sold 1.00-2.00
higher with some high dressing cows 3.00 higher and slaughter bulls sold 2.00
higher. Most of the offering went to slaughter and included a very high
percent of cull dairy cows. The offering of bred cows was light and cow/calf
pairs were scarce. The area continues to be short on moisture with some hope
of precipitation later this week. Supply was heavy following an extended
Holiday break and demand was moderate to good for slaughter classes.

short and solid mouth to aged 2nd and 3rd stage 1100-1355 lbs 715.00-950.00.
Large 1-2  4 yrs to short and solid mouth 2nd and 3rd stage 1380-1460 lbs
