Kelly Suzanne Harrison, age 51, of Aurora, Mo., passed from this life on Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012 following a three year battle with ALS.

Kelly was born on July 8, 1961 in Monett, Mo., daughter of Eugene Daughtrey and JoAnn (Ingle) Barnett. Kelly graduated from Monett High School then furthered her education at Okmulgee State Technical College where she received her computer drafting degree. She then went to work for Conoco Oil in Ponca City, Okla. The last 15 years of Kelly's career came to be the best years as she was a children's librarian for the Okmulgee Public Library. Kelly was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Aurora. She enjoyed crafts, cooking and gardening.

On June 8, 2009 in Miami, Okla., Kelly married Wesley Harrison. He survives. Additional survivors include three sons, Dane Beam and wife, Kristy, of Louisville, Ky., Andrew Beam and wife, Medda, of San Antonio, Texas and Dylan Beam, of San Antonio; three grandchildren, Zeek, Nora and Avery Beam; her mother, JoAnn Barnett, of Monett; two sisters, Shelly Whaley and husband, David, of Oklahoma City, Okla. and Jennifer Hoggatt and husband, Roy, of Richland, Mo.; one nephew, Mason McKenzie; father and mother-in-law, Dale and Corrina Harrison; brother-in-law, James Dossett; and sister and brother-in-law, Bobbie and Robert Branham.

She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Daughtrey.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013 at the Buchanan Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Russ Harbaugh officiating. Interment will be in the New Site Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions have been requested for the Okmulgee Public Library in care of the funeral home.
