Floyd Lee "Bud" Hahner, age 80, of Raymore, Mo., formerly of Monett, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012 at St. Joseph Medical Center. He was the beloved husband of LoAnn Hahner, of Raymore, for 61 years.
Bud was born in Kansas City, Kan. on March 2, 1932 and grew up in Kansas City, Kan., then later moved to Monett, Mo. He was the son of Floyd and Lois Hahner.
Bud worked as a Jayhawk Mill-Wright and was a member of the Local #1529 Carpenters Union. Besides his wife, LoAnn, Bud leaves his two sons, Kenny, of Raymore, Mo., and Kirk, of Kansas City, Mo. with wives Donna and Carole, respectively. Bud also leaves behind eight grand children and eight and a half great-grandchildren.
Bud was a member of the Abdallah Shriner's Organization. When Bud was unable to be found, you could always count on him near the water with a fishing pole in his hand or watching sports. Bud loved to play cards and enjoyed spending time with his family.
Visitation will be held at Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett, Mo. on Friday, Dec. 21, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012 at 10 a.m. at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Chapel in Monett, Mo. Burial will follow services at the Kings Prairie Cemetery near Monett, Mo.
