   Compared to last Wednesday, the bulk of slaughter cows sold 3.00-6.00 higher
with a few outstanding high dressing 8.00-9.00 higher and slaughter bulls sold
3.00-4.00 higher. The offering included a moderate supply of bred cows with the
demand very good for those better quality cows, and a light supply of cow/calf
pairs. Supply was moderate and demand very good for slaughter classes.
Note: The next regular cow and bull auction will be held on January 2, 2013.

3rd stage 1000-1350 lbs most 1075.00-1325.00, some better quality 1350.00-
1550.00, 1st stage 1080-1300 lbs 1075.00-1300.00; short and solid mouth to
aged 2nd and 3rd stage 1150-1345 lbs 850.00-1010.00. Large 1-2  3 yrs to
short and solid mouth 2nd and 3rd stage 1385-1520 lbs 1325.00-1410.00; broken
mouth 3rd stage pkg. 1380 lbs 1130.00. Medium 1-2  2-7 yrs 2nd and 3rd stage
800-1065 lbs 850.00-1150.00, 1st stage 950-1050 lbs 900.00-975.00; broken
mouth 3rd stage pkg. 1040 lbs 675.00 per head.

   Cow/Calf Pairs:  Medium and Large 1-2  5-7 yrs 1075-1200 lb cows w/babies
to 370 lb calves and some rebred 1400.00-1700.00; short and solid mouth to aged
1090-1195 lb cows w/100-160 lb calves 1275.00-1300.00 per pair.
