   Compared to last Wednesday, slaughter cows and slaughter bulls sold steady.
A good number of young open cows were included in the offering with some going
to a new home where they will be given a chance to produce another calf. The
offering included a moderate supply of both bred cows and cow/calf pairs. Night
time temperatures especially, have fallen to a level more typical of this time
of year. Supply and demand were moderate for slaughter classes.

lb calves and all rebred 1475.00-1525.00; short and solid mouth to aged 1100-
1250 lb cows w/babies to 185 lb calves 1050.00-1150.00. Medium and Large 2  2
yr 1050 lb cow w/200 lb calf and rebred 1100.00. Medium 1-2  4-7 yrs 875-1010
lb cows w/170-290 lb calves and a few rebred 1150.00-1375.00 per pair.
