A Washburn man was injured in a two-vehicle crash that occurred at 4:48 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 28, on Highway 37 about two miles south of Cassville.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred when the driver of a 2000 Ford Escort, Shannon P. Ball, 52, of Washburn, had stopped for left-turning traffic and was struck from behind by a 2007 Ford Mustang, driven by Patrick L. Cypret, 19 of Washburn.
Cypret was taken to Mercy Hospital in Cassville with minor injuries. He was not wearing a seat belt. Ball was wearing a seat belt.
