A Carl Junction woman was injured in a single-vehicle crash that occurred at 4:40 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 26, on Highway 37 approximately two miles north of Purdy.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred when a 2004 Chrysler mini van, driven by Jonathan E. Rabourn, 41, of Cassville, ran off the right side of the highway, struck a utility pole and a fence.
A passenger in the vehicle, Robin D. Struwe, 45, of Carl Junction, was taken to Mercy Hospital in Cassville with minor injuries. Both were wearing seat belts.
* A Mt. Vernon man escaped injury when the 2011 Crown Victoria he was driving scraped the passenger side of the vehicle along a guardrail. The incident happened at 10:14 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 25, along Interstate 44, about two miles west of Halltown. The driver of the Crown Victoria, Matthew R. Cook, 25, of Mt. Vernon, had slowed to check on a stranded motorist and moved beyond the fog line, scraping the side of the vehicle. Cook was wearing a seat belt.
