A Purdy teen was injured in a single-vehicle crash that occurred at 10:15 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 19 on Highway C, about three miles east of Purdy.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Kristen B. Dotson, 17, of Purdy, ran off the roadway and struck a culvert.
Dotson was taken by private vehicle to Cox Monett Hospital with moderate injuries. She was wearing a seat belt.
* Two people were injured in a single-vehicle crash that occurred at 11:22 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 18, on Highway H, approximately one mile south of Mt. Vernon. The crash occurred when the driver of a 1992 Ford Explorer, Thresa L. Stout, 52, of Mt. Vernon, swerved to avoid a semi-tractor and trailer and struck a guardrail. Stout was transported to Cox Hospital South in Springfield with minor injuries. A passenger in the vehicle, Donna K. Preteroti, 36, of Mt. Vernon, was taken to Cox Hospital South with moderate injuries. The driver and passenger were not wearing seat belts.
