MO Dept of Ag-USDA Market News
Grass hay of poor to fair quality is available throughout the state
although sales of this less desirable product are limited. Dairy quality
hay is also seen in a moderate supply but with a hefty price tag keeping
those sales limited as well. The bulk of hay produced falls between these
two extremes and has a light supply with moderate demand. Prices are steady
for all types. The Missouri Department of Agriculture has a hay directory
available for both buyers and sellers. To be listed, or for a directory visit
http://mda.mo.gov/abd/haydirectory/ or for current listings of hay
